The short version: what you log stays on your iPhone. We never see your doses, weight, side effects, photos or health data, and we never share them with anyone.
Her Pep is a GLP-1 shot tracker made by Anish Moonka ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app does with your information.
1. What stays on your iPhone
- Everything you enter: your medication, doses, injection sites, schedule, weight, measurements, side effects, check-ins, notes, progress photos and your answers during setup.
- This is stored only in the app's storage on your device. We have no servers that receive it, and the app does not upload it anywhere. If you back up your iPhone with iCloud Backup or a computer, Apple may include app data in that backup under your own account.
- Apple Health. If you connect it, Her Pep reads your step count to show your daily activity. It writes nothing to Apple Health. Health data is never shared and never used for advertising.
- You can export your data or delete all of it in the app under Settings. Deleting the app also removes it.
2. What leaves your iPhone, and why
Subscriptions
Apple handles payment; we never see your card. We use RevenueCat to check whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives purchase details (product, price, dates) and a random ID it creates for your install. It does not receive your name, email or anything you log.
App analytics
We use PostHog to understand how the app is used, so we can improve it. It receives short event names, such as "app opened", "setup screen viewed", "paywall viewed", "shot logged" or "weight logged". It records that something happened, never the dose, the weight or any answer. It also receives your device type, iOS version, app version, language and time zone, plus RevenueCat's random ID, so we can connect a subscription to how the app was used. Your IP address is discarded.
Advertising measurement
We use Singular to learn which of our ads bring people to Her Pep. Singular receives device and app information (a device identifier for our app, device model, iOS version, IP address, app version) and events such as installs, app sessions and purchases. Singular shares measurement results with the ad networks we advertise on, such as Meta, for example that an install or a purchase came from one of their ads.
Tracking permission
After you subscribe, iOS asks whether Her Pep may track you. If you tap Allow, your device's advertising identifier is also shared with Singular and, through it, with ad networks, to measure our ads. If you tap Ask App Not to Track, it is not. You can change your answer at any time in your iPhone's Settings, under Privacy & Security, then Tracking. Apple's own ad measurement (SKAdNetwork) works either way without identifying you.
What we never do
- We never send your health information or anything you log to anyone.
- We never sell personal information.
- We never use health data for advertising.
3. Who processes data for us
- Apple: payments and the App Store (privacy policy)
- RevenueCat: subscription status (privacy policy)
- PostHog: app analytics (privacy policy)
- Singular: advertising measurement (privacy policy)
- Meta: advertising, receiving measurement results only (privacy policy)
4. How long data is kept
We keep no account for you. Our providers keep the data above only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, and for legal and tax records of purchases, and then delete or anonymise it.
5. Your choices and rights
- Delete everything you logged: in the app, Settings, then Delete all data.
- Change the tracking permission in your iPhone's Settings at any time.
- Ask us to access or delete data our providers hold about your install: email us from the app (Settings, then Contact us) so we can find the records linked to it.
- Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA. Contact us and we will help.
6. Children
Her Pep is made for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed at children.

8. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app.
